# disclosure

Affiliate disclosure.

Computer Graphics Training is reader-supported. Some outbound links to academies, software vendors, and hardware retailers are affiliate links. If you click one and buy the product, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

How this affects reviews.

It does not. We decide what to review, and what verdict to give, before we know whether the vendor has an affiliate programme. Multiple products we recommend (NCCA Bournemouth, NFTS, Blender, Houdini Apprentice) have no affiliate programme and earn us nothing. Multiple products we do not recommend do have affiliate programmes. Editorial and commerce are decided separately.

What is labelled.

Every affiliate link on the site is labelled with an “affiliate” chip next to the anchor text, and the link uses rel="sponsored nofollow". There is an affiliate note at the top of every review that contains one. There is no cloaking; you can hover any link and see the destination.

What we do not do.

  • No paid placement. We do not accept money to review a course.
  • No affiliate-weighted ranking. Our top pick is our top pick; commission does not move the order.
  • No sponsored posts on the blog labelled as editorial.
  • No affiliate links inside newsletter emails without the same label used on-site.

Who we partner with.

We participate in the affiliate programmes of Escape Studios, Domestika, Coursera, Skillshare, Udemy, School of Motion, Rebelway, CG Spectrum, Pluralsight, Coloso, and Maxon. We do not participate in Blender, Houdini, NCCA Bournemouth, NFTS, or Framestore programmes (some do not exist; some we chose not to join).
