Scheduled or Tailored training - what's the difference?

A scheduled course is provided to any individual or company that requires training at a cost effective price, and we limit attendance to a maximum of 4 attendees.

Unlike other training providers, we prefer not to have large numbers of attendees on scheduled courses. By restricting our class sizes, we can ensure that every attendee receives a better quality training experience

Our Tailored training courses provides private one-to-one training, with course content tailored to the individual's specific requirements. These cost-effective courses can then focus on what either the individual or a small group from one company specifically needs to cover, even to the extent of combining elements from different software. We encourage the attendee to bring along examples of the type of work they wish to produce to guarantee that the training is immediately productive.

How long are the courses?

This depends on which course and what you expect to achieve - for example, tailored courses can often be combined and take less time than the equivalent scheduled courses!

Each course starts at 9.30am and finishes at approximately 4.30pm daily with refreshment breaks and lunch. (6.5 hours per day is known to be the maximum that most individuals can absorb in one day).

What are the training times?

Training typically starts at 9.30am and finishes at approximately 4.30pm each day.

For Tailored courses we can adjust the timings to suit the individual or group.

Online training can be taken at a prearranged time and date and is typically three or four, hour sessions.

How many people typically attend a scheduled course?

Typically there are between 3 and 4 people on our scheduled courses to ensure that each person receives personal attention.

Naturally, each attendee will have their own particular needs that they will wish to focus on. These are discussed at the time the course is booked and collated from the pre-course questionnaires we receive.

We keep numbers to a minimum in order to cover these areas. However, should we consider it necessary then we would sometimes recommend a bespoke individual training course instead.

Do you offer tailored training?

Yes absolutely!

We'll set up a course designed to meet your specific aims based around one, or several of our training courses, often over a specific timeframe.

We tailor each course exactly to your needs, covering only those parts of any application that are essential to you and your organisation. As a result, individuals and organisations alike find that this type of training, although seemingly more expensive, can actually be more cost effective than attending scheduled public courses.

How much is a tailored course?

Prices vary per course but as a rule, if a company requires two or more people training on the same course, it is usually more cost effective time saving to book a tailored course.

Indeed, if you have a group of between 3 and 4 people, all requiring training on the same software, the tailored course is actually far less than sending them all on a scheduled course!

Plus the focus of the training will be designed precisely to meet your objectives!

How do I book a course without dates?

Any tailored course can be booked simply by emailing us, indicating the dates you would prefer.

You can also call us on 01732 833004.

Is Lunch Provided?

Yes - we provide lunch (usually taken between 12.30 and 1.00pm) - together with water, tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks throughout the day.

The menu is varied and we cater for all dietary requirements. Attendees can highlight these on their pre-course questionnaire.
